Priced Upfront · Clean Hookup · No Surprises
You picked the dishwasher. We connect it — properly, the first time. That means a sound water supply connection, a correct drain connection with air gap or high loop as required, a secure electrical hookup, and a level, leak-free fit under your counter. If your home's existing valves, drain line, or wiring need attention to support the new unit, we'll show you exactly what's needed and quote it in writing before any work begins.
Water supply line connected and tested

Electrical connection completed safely
Old shutoff valves replaced if seized or undersized
Repiping completed if older plumbing can't support the new unit
Unit leveled and secured
Tested for leaks before we leave
Written upfront price before any work begins
Backed by our 12-month workmanship guarantee

Day Service Available
You get a written quote before a single tool comes out. The price you approve is the price on the invoice.
Renovation timelines don't wait. Jaytech is typically on-site the same day, often within hours of your call.
If your existing plumbing is ready to go, we'll say so. If a valve or drain line needs attention first, we'll explain why — and we won't pad the job with work that isn't necessary.
A properly installed dishwasher should run quietly and stay leak-free for years. We install for the long term, not just a working unit on day one.
Our technicians arrive ready to assess, quote, get your approval, and complete the installation — same visit.
Dishwasher installs mean time in your kitchen, around your new cabinetry and flooring. We protect the area and leave it the way we found it.
Matt was great. Efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced our old toilet, serviced our tankless water heater and took video imaging of our system to the main city sewer. Transparent in providing quotes before work and no change to pricing. Would recommend to others without reservation

We’ve used JayTech twice now and have been completely satisfied. They are really efficient at getting a technician out to the house……each time was the same day. Everyone we talked to was very friendly and made it a great experience! It’s a refreshing change from other experiences with other companies! Highly recommend!

Matt and Cayden did a great job fixing our leaky toilet. Super quick and easy to work with.

Jaytech plumbing is amazing. They came 30 min after I called. Matt showed up right on time and was extremely helpful. He helped with my issue with honesty and great customer service. I would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.

Connor did a neat and thorough job of installing a new toilet and bathroom taps, as well as replacing shut of valves. He took his time and everything looks great.

Tom was great! Very friendly and obviously a very skilled professional. He did a great job of using his creative genius in finding a way to extract our stubborn bathtub drain and leaving a glistening new one in its place! Thanks JayTech Plumbing for the quick service too!!

No — dishwasher repair is appliance technician work, not plumbing. We install and connect new dishwashers, including any plumbing work needed to support the hookup. If your existing dishwasher has stopped working, an appliance repair technician is who you'll want for that.
A simple way to tell: if water isn't reaching the dishwasher, isn't draining away from it, or is leaking from somewhere outside the unit itself — that's plumbing. If the dishwasher is filling and draining fine but isn't cleaning, isn't drying, isn't starting a cycle, or is making an unusual noise during operation, that's almost always the appliance itself.
A few quick checks:
Leak under the cabinet, not under the unit → likely a supply line, drain line, or connection issue (we handle this)
No water entering the dishwasher at all → could be a shutoff valve or supply line issue (we handle this) or an internal water inlet valve (appliance issue)
Water won't drain, missing air gap/high loop, or old plumbing needs repiping → a plumbing issue (we handle this)
Dishes aren't getting clean, won't start, error codes → almost always the appliance itself (call an appliance technician)
If you're not sure, call us. We'll help you figure out which one it is — and tell you honestly if it's not something we handle, rather than taking the job anyway.
We install dishwashers you've already purchased or are planning to purchase as part of a renovation. Bring us the model and we'll confirm it's compatible with your kitchen's existing setup before installation day.
Older homes sometimes have shutoff valves that have seized over time, drain lines without a proper air gap or high loop, or wiring that wasn't set up for a modern dishwasher's electrical needs. We check all of this before we start and tell you upfront if anything needs to be addressed — most installs don't require extra work, but it's common enough in older Guelph homes that we always check first.
An air gap (or a high loop, depending on your setup) prevents dirty water from your sink drain from siphoning back into your dishwasher. Many municipalities require one by code. If your current setup doesn't have one, we'll point it out and include it as part of the installation.
Yes. We regularly coordinate with renovation timelines — connecting a new dishwasher after counter and cabinet work is one of our most common calls. We work around your contractor's schedule and protect your new finishes while we work.
Most installations are completed in a single visit, often within an hour or two, assuming no additional plumbing work is needed. If a valve replacement or drain correction is required, we'll let you know before starting and complete it the same visit.

Guelph's housing stock spans everything from century homes downtown to mid-century bungalows in Exhibition Park to newer builds in Westminster Woods and Kortright Hills. Each comes with its own plumbing quirks — and a dishwasher installation is often the first time those quirks get noticed, since it's frequently tied to a kitchen renovation or a long-overdue upgrade.
We serve homeowners across Guelph, from downtown to the Ward, Hanlon Creek to Stone Road. We're also who Kitchener, Cambridge, and Waterloo homeowners call when they want a dishwasher connected properly the first time, with no surprises on installation day.
Jaytech answers the phone, gives you a real arrival time, and is usually there the same day. Written price before we start. Home left clean when we leave.
